The need for fuelwood

As you may know, I have been working on a sustainable solution for Zambia’s fuelwood industry for many years. I was even summoned to the State House during President Banda’s term in office to explain my concept to him. He was very impressed and agreed that it was the way forward, but he also told me that the people of Zambia would never go for such an idea. He believed that citizens should be allowed to harvest trees for fuelwood to cook and for warmth as is their right. However, things have changed. Overcutting forests has become a primary concern, spurred on by changing climates. This concept would help in the fight against the desertification of Zambia. Remember, it will get a lot worse as time goes on. He was very impressed and agreed that it was the way forward, but he also told me that the people of Zambia would never go for such an idea. Citizens should be allowed to harvest trees for fuelwood to cook and for warmth. But things have changed. Over-cutting forests has come to the forefront of concern spurred on by changing climates. This concept would help in the fight against the desertification of Zambia. Remember, it is going to get a lot worse. Alternative methods of cooking and heating should be explored. Fuelwood will play a huge role in alleviating the use of electricity until a solution can be found to the problem of supplying electricity to the households of rural Zambia.

GREETINGS TO ALL

We have been going through long delays in getting the Sustainable Fuelwood Agency up and running. It has been hard just sitting here in Canada twiddling my thumbs. I am hopeful that things will eventually get on the ground. The President has much bigger issues on his plate that he must address. I wish him wisdom.

Am I being scammed?

It has been quite a while since I posted here. Things are not going well with my relationship with the alleged Minister Mutati and the Zambian Government as he refuses to clarify that the monies I have been sending him have gone for programme things. He insists they have and that he is a very honourable gentleman, and I should not question his word.

Is it he who is corrupt or is this a scam? A very well-thought-out scam by someone who has access to information. I need to find out. My email is africancommunityproject@gmail.com
